About Intresto

Intresto Pty Ltd is a small software research and development company based in Australia.

We are developing a software application, Rocksolver, which will optimise the use of unprocessed rock as a building material.

Rocksolver automatically builds virtual structures by automatically optimising the packing of irregular shaped virtual rocks. When a suitable virtual structure has been built the builder then constructs the real structure following the packing sequence devised by Rocksolver.

Intresto is the only company or organisation in the world to be working on a software solution to the age-old problem of building with irregular shaped material. Rocksolver software is currently (May 2010) undergoing proof-of-concept testing.

Intresto is owned by Malcolm Lambert, the inventor of Rocksolver, and the Rocksolver software is being developed by software engineers skilled in the area of search and optimisation algorithms.
